DR TANYA TRINH

Dr Tanya Trinh is a world renowned refractive, pterygium, cornea and cataract surgeon based in Lower North Shore, Sydney known for her precision, warmth and dedication to advancing modern vision correction.
With fellowships from the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists (RANZCO), the World College of Refractive Surgery and Vision Sciences (FWCRSVS), and the European Board of Ophthalmology Subspecialty in Cornea & Refractive Surgery (FEBOS-CR), she is among the most highly credentialed surgeons in Australia.
In recognition of her expertise, Dr Trinh was awarded FEBOS-CR status, becoming only the second Australian to receive this European distinction in cornea and refractive surgery. She was also the first female Australian to be awarded Fellowship of the World College of Refractive Surgery and Vision Sciences.
Dr Trinh is co-director of Australia’s only Keratoprosthesis Service and is a Cornea Staff Specialist at Sydney Eye Hospital. She is actively involved in research, education and surgical training, having authored more than 45 peer-reviewed publications, contributed to ophthalmology textbooks, and supervised ophthalmology fellows from Australia and around the world. She serves on several national and international professional organisations, including the RANZCO Women in Ophthalmology Executive and is a section editor of the Australian and New Zealand ophthalmic journal Clinical and Experimental Ophthalmology.
